ABOUT US. . .

In the fall of 2010, Don and Kathy Hershman had the opportunity to visit and minister in many churches and ministries in the Nairobi, Kenya area. They were so profoundly touched by their experience that upon their return we founded Huruma Ministries, a non-profit corporation.

Huruma is a Swahili word meaning both mercy and compassion.
As they ministered they were able to feel both the mercy and
compassion of the Lord for all that were being reached and
ministered to. It is their goal to continue ministering that same
mercy and compassion to the least, the lost, and the broken in
Kenya.
